Blog About Twitter
Using Twitter as a discussion tool never crossed my mind, but after our recent assignment, I like it better than the BlackBoard Discussion. In BlackBoard you need to click on each individual thread in order to see it. On Twitter all you have to do is keep scrolling and all the tweets are there for you to see. The difference from an in-class discussion is that you can say what you want and as long as you want, but Twitter has a limit. The limit can actually be a good thing since it makes those of us that like to talk a lot (guilty!) get to the point and tweet an idea, not a whole book.
